RESOLUTION NO. 91-59
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM
THE CALIFORNIA LIBRARY SERVICES ACT LITERACY
FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library Adult Leafing Program provides
training to meet the literacy needs of the adult population; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library Adult Learning Program supports thc
goals of the City Council and the objectives of the library; and
WHEREAS, the California State Library is providing additional support for
the Library Adult Learning Program with grant funds in the amount of $12,578.C
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That state funds in the amount of $12,578.00 are hereby appropria
to Library Account No. 001-820-4060-3900.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 19th day of February , 1991, by1
