RESOLUTION NO. 91-62
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PURSUE TRANSPORTATION
DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) FUNDING FROM SANDAG FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS
THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has determined that sidewalks shall be part oj
improvements as indicated in the Circulation Element of the General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) has solicited 6
projects for the seven-year Regional Transportation Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the construction of sidewalk improvements in Carlsbad has been includ
seven-year Regional Transportation Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, funds have been established and are available through SANDAG
governments for construction of sidewalks;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, (
as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That City Council of the City of Carlsbad authorizes the submittal of an ai
to the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) for the construction of sidewalks j
locations throughout Carlsbad.

3. The Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad is hereby author
empowered to execute in the name of the City of Carlsbad all necessary applications to i~
and cany out the purposes specified in this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Cot
on the 19th day of Feb. , 1991 by the following vote, to wit:
