RESOLUTION NO. 91-64
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PURSUE TRANSPORTATION
DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) FUNDING FROM SANDAG FOR
PURCHASE OF TWO BICYCLE RACKS FOR THE FUTURE MIGRANT
HIRING HALL SITE
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has determined that a future migrant hiring hall:
be located in Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, bicycles are the primary mode of transportation for many individuals t
utilize the migrant hiring hall site; and
WHEREAS, the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) has solicited,
projects for the seven-year Regional Transportation Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the purchase of bicycle racks for the future migrant hiring hall site h
has been included on the seven-year Regional Transportation Improvement Program; an
WHEREAS, funds have been established and are available through SANDAC
governments for the purchase of bicycle racks;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That City Council of the City of Carlsbad authorizes the submittal of an
to the San Diego Associadon of Governments (SANDAG) for the purchase of two bicycle
placed at the future migrant hiring hall site.

3. The Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad is hereby author
empowered to execute in the name of the City of Carlsbad all necessary applications to in
and cany out the purposes specified in this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Cot
on the Igth day of February , 1991 by the following vote, to wit:
