A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE POLICE ASSET FORFEITURE FUND FOR THE
SUPPOFT OF POLICE ACTIVITIES
WHEREAS, from time to time the City of Carlsbad receives fund:
and assets resulting from the Police Department's drug enforcement
activities; and
WHEREAS, said funds must be restricted to use in supporting
police activities including the acquisition of equipment, supplies or
service; and
WHEREAS, the appropriation of said funds is necessary before
any expenditure of funds can take place; and
WHEREAS, the Police Forfeiture Asset Fund has an available fun1
balance of $150,525.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad, California, that the amount of $134,000 be hereb
appropriated from the available fund balance of the Police Asset
Forfeiture Fund for support of police activities.
