HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-07-02; City Council; Resolution 91-2051 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 0 0 RESOLUTION NO. 91-205 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE SEVEN- YEAR TRANSNET LOCAL STREET AND ROAD PROGRAM OF PROJECTS AND THE COMBINED ROAD PLAN PROJECTS FOR FISCAL YEARS 1993 THROUGH 1999 WHEREAS, on November 3, 1987, the voters of San Diego CI approved the San Diego Transportation Improvement Program Ordii and Expenditure Plan; and WHEREAS, the Ordinance provides that the SANDAG Commi: shall annually approve a program of projects submitted by 1 jurisdictions identifyingthose transportation projects eligib use transportation sales tax (TransNet) funds; and the WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad was provided with an estimai annual TransNet local street and road revenues for fiscal 4 1993 through 1999; and WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has held a public hearin accordance with Section 5(A) of the Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the of Carlsbad, California, as follows: 1. 2. That the above recitations are true and correct. That the 1991-92 fiscal year of the 1990 Revised Pro of Projects, attached hereto as Attachment A, to be funded in with local street and road TransNet revenues is hereby adopte That the Seven-Year Program of Projects, attached he 3. as Exhibit B, to be funded in part with local street and TransNet revenues is hereby adopted. 4. That pursuant to Section 8 of the TransNet Ordinance, City of Carlsbad certifies that the required minimum annual 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 g 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 a 0 of local discretionary funds to be expended for street and purposes will be met throughout the seven-year period consic with Maintenance of Effort Requirements adopted by the SI Commission on June 24, 1988. 5. That pursuant to Section 9 of the TransNet Ordinance, City of Carlsbad certifies that TransNet funds programmed in attached Seven-Year Program of Projects do not replace pri developer funding which has been or will be committed for project. 6. That pursuant to Section 16 of the TransNet Ordina the city of Carlsbad certifies that each project of $250,001 more will be clearly designated during construction with Tran project funding identification signs. 7. That the City of Carlsbad does hereby certify all o? applicable provisions of the TransNet Ordinance have been met< PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of Carlsbad City Council held on this 2nd day of July 1991, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Larson, Stanton and Nygaard NOES: None ABSENT: None ATTEST : ALETHA L.
