HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-07-09; City Council; Resolution 91-226& 4 t 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 20 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 0 0 RESOLUTION NO. 91-226 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING THE CIRCULATION IMPROVEMENTS TO BE FUNDED BY TRAFFIC IMPACT FEES WHEREAS, that report entitled "City of Carlsbad Circulation lmplemer Program and Traffic Impact Fee Study" was completed in April 1991, hereinafter re to as the "Traffic Impact Fee Study"; and WHEREAS, that study estimates the capital costs of constructi improvements to implement the City's Circulation Program; and WHEREAS, fees to implement the construction of those improvements 5 forth in the Traffic Impact Fee Study; and WHEREAS, the fees so established do not exceed the reasonable co constructing these facilities and the fees are not levied for general revenue purpo: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Car as follows: 1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That staff is directed to implement recommendations in the Traffic Impac Study and schedule a public hearing to consider the establishment of uniform City- Traffic Impact Fees. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad Council held on the 9th day of July , 1991 by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Larson, Nygaard, an Stanton NOES: None ABSENT: None AITEST: 2. -le- ALETHA L.
