RESOLUTION NO. 91-228
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLS BAD, CALIFORNIA, APP ROVl N G THE
IMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT FOR THE NATIONAL
POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM PERMIT
NO. CA 0108758 AND AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has been named a co-permittee undei
National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit No. CA 01 08758 is:
by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, San Diego Region pursuai
Order No. 90-42; and
WHEREAS, NPDES Permit No. CA 01 08758 requires that the City of Carlsbad f
into an implementation agreement with the other co-permittees listed under said pe
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has found it to be in the
interest of the City to comply with requirements of NPDES Permit No. 0108758 an
enter into said Implementation Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Caris
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the implementation Agreement for the National Pollution Discharg
hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directe
execute said agreement. Following the Mayor’s signature of said agreement, the
Clerk is further authorized and directed to forward a copy of said agreement and tv\l
