RESOLUTION NO. 91-231
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE BID AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PURCHASE ORDER
FOR 2" TURBINE WATER METERS WITH STRAINERS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, as fo
1 I That the bids from Badger Meter Inc, and Wheeler Meter Mainte
did not meet the City's specifications as outlined in memorandum from I
Superintendent dated June 4, 1991, and are hereby rejected and;
2. That the bid of Sensus Technology, 1632 Sierra Madre
Placentia CA 92670, for 2" turbine water meters with strainers as shown on Exhil
is hereby accepted and the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized to exec
Purchase Order for the purchase of the meters in the amount of $29,815.50 for the
of one year beginning July 1, 1991 through June 30, 1992, with an option to ren
two one (1) year periods with the increases not to exceed 4% of the price in effect
end of the initial contract period.
