RESOLUTION NO. 91-260
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A
CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD & PALOMAR OAKS WAY TRAFFIC SIGNAL, PROJECT NO. 3345
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determi
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to construct the Palomar A
Road and Palomar Oaks Way Traffic Signal; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for the construction of said p
was submitted by Knox Electric in the amount of $73,264; and
WHEREAS, developers of the Carlsbad Airport Center and the Bi
Business Center-Corporate Palomar have deposited monies in Project Accou
300-820-1840-3345 for the construction of the above referenced signal; a
WHEREAS, the expenditure of ten percent (10%) constr
contingencies is hereby approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the C
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the bid of $73,264 by Knox Electric for Project No. 3345 f
construction of the Palomar Airport Road and Palomar Oaks Way Traffic Sigr

hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and di>
to execute a contract thereafter.
3. That the City Council does hereby appropriate all developer
contributions in the amount of $93,184 for the project to the project accou
hereby authorizes the Financial Management Director to return all remaining
to the developers following project completion and final accounting.
