RESOLUTION NO. 91-267
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
AND THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO FOR ANIMAL
CONTROL SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City desires to contract with the County of San
Diego for the performance within its boundaries of certain animal
control services for the fiscal years 1991-92 through 1995-96; and
WHEREAS, the City is authorized to enter into this agreement
pursuant to Government Code Section 51300; and
WHEREAS, the County of San Diego is willing and able to
perform such services on certain terms and conditions set forth
in the proposed "Agreement Animal Control Services"; and
WHEREAS, the performance of such services by the County of
San Diego will eliminate the necessity of the City providing

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. The agreement between the City of Carlsbad and the County
of San Diego for animal control services is hereby approved.

2. The Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and
directed to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of
Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad held on the 20th day of
August , 1991, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Larson, Stanton and Nygaard
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
