RESOLUTION NO. 91-280
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS, AND AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF HOLLY BRAE SEWER LINE, PROJECT NO. 3309
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbac
construction of the Holly Brae Sewer Line, Project No. 3309; and
WHEREAS, the low bid received for the construction of Alternate
said project was submitted by GRBAVAC Construction Company, in the amoi
$135,909; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $225,000 are available in P
Account No. 512-840-1850-3309 for the construction of this project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
declares it necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to constru
aforementioned project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the C
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the bid of $135,909 by GRBAVAC Construction Compa
Project No. 3309 for the construction of the Holly Brae Sewer Line is
accepted, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and direc
execute a contract thereafter.
