RESOLUTION NO. 9 1 - 2 8 8
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A TRAFFIC
CONTROL SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is responsible for the provision of
maintenance of all traffic control devices within the City's jurisdictional boundaries;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad and the City of Encinitas have negotiated
each jurisdiction's proportional share of the energy and maintenance costs for the
traffic control signal located at Olivenhain Road and Amargosa Drive.
WHEREAS, funding is available in Traffic Signal Maintenance Budget to cover
the projected costs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad as follows:

That the above recitations are true and correct.
That the City of Carlsbad shall pay one-third (1/3) of
the energy and maintenance costs for the traffic control
signal located at Olivenhain Road and Amargosa Drive.
