RESOLUTION NO. 91-343
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE GRAND AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NOS. 3254, 3273, 3277, 3278, AND 3283
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determi
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to construct traffic sign
sidewalk improvements; and
WHEREAS, eight (8) sealed bids were received on September 24
for the project; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive bid from a qualified fiu
submitted by Lekos Electric, Incorporated, in the amount of $186,984.95.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the C
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the low bid submitted by Lekos Electric, Incorporat
the amount of $186,984.95 is hereby accepted and the Mayor and City Cle
hereby authorized to execute a contract hereafter.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City C
of the City of Carlsbad held on the 15th day of October 9 19
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Larson and Stanton
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Members
