A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO
CONSIDER AN AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO
MODIFY THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT REGULATIONS FOR SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENCES AND CHANGE THE DEFINTION OF
UNDERGROUND PARKING.

5 11 Pursuant to Section 21.52.020 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code the C

Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby declares its intention to consider an amendmc
of Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code to:

Adjust the threshold to allow single family residences to exceed 30
feet/2 stories from R-1-15 or greater zones and a minimum lot size
of 15,000 square feet to R-1-20 or greater zones with a minimum lot
size of 20,000 square feet; and to change the definition of
underground parking.

14 appropriate study set the matter for public hearing before this Council.
