RESOLUTION NO. 9 2 - 6 9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER
OF VIDEO INSURANCE FUNDS TO PURCHASE SHELVING.
4 11 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library maintains a fee-based video insurance
5 11 fund; and

7 WHEREAS, the library plans to bring 7,000 videotapes from storage to the
8 library to make them directly accessible by the public; and

WHEREAS, additional shelving will be required to house these materials;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of

Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

14 2. That the funds needed to purchase shelving to accommodate the

16 total no more than $5,500.
7,000 storage videos are available in the library's video insurance budget and will
17 3. That the library is authorized to transfer the $5,500 from video

insurance materials to video insurance capital.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad held the 3rd day of March , 1992, by
the following vote, to wit:
