A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE POLICE ASSET
FORFEITURE FUND FOR THE SUPPORT OF POLICE ACTIVITIES.
WHEREAS, from time to time, the City of Carlsbad Police Department receives funds and
6 assets resulting from the Police Department's drug enforcement activities; and

police activities; and
WHEREAS, said funds should be utilized for law enforcement purposes and supporting
WHEREAS, the appropriation of said funds is necessary before any expenditure of funds
1o can take place; and
I1 I1 WHEREAS, the Police Forfeiture Asset Fund has an available fund balance of

14 California, that the amount of the $47,000 be hereby appropriated from the available fund balance
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
15 /j of the Police Asset Forfeiture Fund to support ViceINarcotics and WarranVEntry Team activities.
16 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
17 Council held ~n the 7th day of April ,1992, by the following
