RESOLUTION NO. 9 2 - 10 5
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM
THE CALIFORNIA LIBRARY SERVICES ACT LITERACY
FUNDS.
5 11 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library Adult Learning Program provides

9 goals of the City Council and the objectives of the library; and
training to meet the literacy needs of the adult population; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library Adult Learning Program supports the
10 WHEREAS, the California State Library is providing additional support for
l1 the Library Adult Learning Program with grant funds in the amount of $14,250.0C
l2 II NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of

14 Carlsbad, California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That state funds in the amount of $14,250.00 are hereby appropriatc
17 to Library Account No. 180-820-8138.
