RESOLUTION NO. 92-116
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
WFORNIA DESIGNATING THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY DEPARTMENT
OF HEALTH SERVICES AS THE LOCAL ENFORCEMENT AGENCY FOR
SOLID WASTE ISSUES
WHEREAS, Divisicn 30, Part 4, Chapter 2 of the Public Resource:
(California Integrated Solid Waste Management Act of 1989) requires that all
Enforcement Agencies (LEAS) for solid waste issues be certified by the Cal
Integrated Waste Managemenr Board (CIWMB); and
WHEREAS, each local jurisdiction must designate an LEA, or reman
responsibility to the CIWMB, and make notification to the CIWMB as to the design
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Carlsbad City C
hereby designates the County of San Diego, Department of Health Se:
Environmental Health Services as the LEA for solid waste issues in this jurisdict
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the (
Carlsbad at its regular meeting held on the 28th day of ADril , 19
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Larson, Stanton, Ny
NOES: None
