RESOLUTION NO. 9 2 - 14 4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CONSULTANT
AGREEMENT FOR THE 1992 GROWTH MANAGEMENT
PLAN TRAFFIC MONITORING PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad previously solicited '

proposals from qualified consulting traffic engineering firms to perform the traffic
monitoring program of the Growth Management Plan; and, a
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby finds it necessary,
desirable and in the public interest to extend the consultant agreement with JHK &

11 Associates of San Diego, California to provide services for said project; and,
12 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has previously collected Traffic Impact Fees to fund

said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
/I California, as follows: 16

1 3. That the consultant agreement with JHK & Associates is hereby approved 2o
Management Plan Traffic Monitoring Program (310-820-1840-3316). 19
2. That the consultant fee of $35,800 will be charged to the Growth
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
21 I/ and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said

agreement. Following the Mayor's signature of said agreement, the City Clerk is further
authorized and directed to forward a copy of said agreement and this Resolution to JHK
& Associates, Attn: William R. Reilly, 8989 Rio San Diego Drive, Suite 335, San Diego,
California 92 108.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
Council held on the 2nd day of June , 1992 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Larson, Stanton and Nygaard
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
