RESOLUTION NO. 92-145
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CONTINUING THE EXISTENCE OF AND ESTABLISHING TERMS FOR THE
CITIZEN'S COMMITTEE TO STUDY AND ASSESS THE IMPACTS OF GROWTH IN CARLSBAD.
WHEREAS, the City Council established a citizen's
committee to study growth by the adoption of Resolution No. 8443 on
March 25, 1986; and
WHEREAS, seven members were appointed to this committee
by minute motion of the City Council on March 25, 1986; and
WHEREAS, those members continued to serve until the City
Council appointed seven members by Resolution No. 89-307 on August
22, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the Council amended Resolution No. 8443 on
August 20, 1991 by adopting Resolution No. 91-269 to establish
four-year terms,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitals are true and correct.
2. That the term of two members shall expire on August
22, 1993, two additional members' terms shall expire on August 22,
1994, and three members' terms shall expire on August 22, 1995.
Thereafter, members shall be appointed to four-year terms to
provide continuity to the Committee.
3. The Committee may recommend the order in which the
terms of incumbent members expire and report is recommendations to
the City Clerk at least 30 days prior to the expiration of the
initial term or sooner, should a vacancy occur.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the
City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 2nd day of June
1992, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Larson, Stanton and Nygaard
