RESOLUTION NO. 93 - 154
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE INTERSECTION OF EL CAMINO REAL AND
TAMARACK AVENUE, PROJECT NO. 3363
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it
necessary, desirable, and in the pub1 ic interest to construct improvements to the
intersection of El Camino Real and Tamarack Avenue, Project No. 3363.
WHEREAS, five (5) sealed bids were received on March 10, 1992 for the
project; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible bid for the project was submitted by
Kennedy Pipeline Company, in the amount of $95,732.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the low bid submitted by Kennedy Pipeline Company, in the amount
of $95,732.00 is hereby accepted and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute a contract hereafter.

1 3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to approve individual
2 construction change orders of a cumulative value of $14,400.00.
3 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
