RESOLUTION NO. 92-205
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATIONS TOTALLING
SIXTEEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($16,500) IN
CASH, PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES FOR THE 1992 ANNUAL
CARLSBAD TRIATHLON.
5 WHEREAS, the Fieldstone Company has donated two
6 thousand five hundred ($2,500) dollars to be used for purchasing awards
7 // for the triathlon, and

WHEREAS, Daniels Cable Vision will provide five thousand
10
11 WHEREAS, Fleet Feet Triathlete of Solana Beach has donated
12 one thousand five hundred ($1,500) dollars worth of water bottles and will
13 provide two thousand five hundred ($2,500) dollars worth of bicycle
I* inspection service for triathlon participants, and

($5,000) dollars worth of advertising for the triathlon, and
WHEREAS, the Olive Garden Restaurant will provide three
thousand ($3,000) dollars worth of food at the Awards Banquet
la 11 Ceremonies, and
19 i WHEREAS, the Power Bar Company will provide two thousand
20 ($2,000) dollars worth of "Power Bar" product for the triathlon participants,

22 ll WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has

24 unanimously recommended that the City Council accept the aforementioned

1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City

Council of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the City Council does hereby accept the aforementioned
4 I1 donations.

6 I! PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting

8 following vote, to wit:
of the City Council of Carlsbad on the 7th of July of 1992, by the
