A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
THE LEASE OF THE LIBRARY PARKING EXPANSION
PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad recently acquired additional property

identified as The Library Parking Lot Expansion to be developed for potential

WHEREAS, this property has been vacant and
WHEREAS, Mr. Henry Yada has requested a lease with the City of Carlsbad

and
WHEREAS, the property is not scheduled for immediate development and
12 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Carlsbad City
13

Council has decided the negotiated lease price of $350 per acre, per year for the
15
annual amount of $600.00 to be in the best interest of the City to accept until such
16
time as park development commences.
