A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING RENEWAL OF THE CITY’S
EXCESS WORKERS, COMPENSATION
INSURANCE
5 11 WHEREAS, the City has established a self-insurance program for workers’
6 IP ompensation; and
7 .I WHEREAS, the City’s Insurance Broker has received quotations for Excess
9 orkers’ Compensation Insurance coverage; and
10: I( WHEREAS, upon evaluation of these quotations for excess insurance, the
I.1 IF ity desires to renew its insurance. l2I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Carlsbad,

1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 14

15 11 2. That the renewal of the City’s Excess Workers’ Compensation
l6 ibnsurance coverage with General Reinsurance and Fireman’s Fund is hereby approved and
17 i he Finance Director is authorized to issue a warrant for the deposit premium of said
enewal in the amount of $39,358. 18 ~
