RESOLUTION NO. 92-231
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NUMBER 5 FOR
SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS ON ROOSEVELT STREET,
PROJECT NUMBER 3391.
4 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has previously awarded a contract

for the construction of improvements to Oak Avenue and CDBG Sidewalk Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds it cost effective and expeditious and in the
7 public interest to use Basile Construction Company to complete the Roosevelt Street sidewalk a
~ /I improvements as part of the existing contract; and 9

WHEREAS, costs relating to said work has been negotiated with the project contractor
resulting in Change Order No. 5 for said contract; and
WHEREAS, there are funds available in the Local Street Upgrade Program account.
13 /I NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,

1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 15

available for use and that of these funds $800 is construction contingency.

1 /I 4. That following the Mayor's signature of said Change Order, the City Clerk is
authorized and directed to forward said executed Change Order to the Engineering
Department for processing.
