RESOLUTION NO. 92-253
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPOINTING RONALD R. BALL AS CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, the City Council appointed Ronald R. Ball as
Acting City Attorney by the adoption of Resolution No. 91-408 on
December 17, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the City Council commenced a nationwide search
to fill the office of City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, it concluded that search on Wednesday, July 8,
1992; and
WHEREAS, the City Council announced its selection of
Ronald R. Ball on Thursday, July 9, 1992,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitals are true and correct.
2. That Ronald R. Ball is appointed City Attorney
effective Thursday, July 9, 1992.
3. That the salary for the City Attorney shall be
$3,980.
4. The City Attorney shall receive an automobile
allowance of $225 per month.
5. The City Attorney shall receive $100 per month as
general counsel to the Redevelopment Agency.
6. Except as stated above, other compensation and
benefits are those specified in the Management Compensation Plan
adopted by Resolution No. 92-62 as amended from time to time.

City Council of the City of Carlsbad on the 11th day of AUGUST
1992, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Larson, Stanton, Nygaard
