RESOLUTION NO. 92-259
1 II A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
2 /I CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A CONTRIBUTION FROM FIELDSTONE LA COSTA
3 11 WHEREAS, one of City Council's objectives for the Arts Office is to "request project

support from individuals, businesses and foundations when applicable"; and
WHEREAS, Fieldstone La Costa has contributed $5,000 to the Carlsbad Arts Office
for four jazz concerts held at Stagecoach Park; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost to present the 12 summer jazz concerts is $1 5,000
and the Fieldstone contribution will help offset this cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,

3. That the Carlsbad Arts Office is hereby authorized to expend such funds to offset 15

2. That the $5,000 donation from Fieldstone La Costa is hereby accepted and 13

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad, California, held on the 18th day of AUGUST , 1992, by the following vote,
