RESOLUTION NO. 92-260
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RETECTING BIDS
AND AUTHORIZING RF.ADWRTISEMENT OF BIDS
FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE BUENA VISTA
CHANNEL, CONTRACT NO. U/M 92-5.
WHEREAS, the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, has previously authorized the advertisement of bids for the
Maintenance of Buena Vista Channel, Contract No. U/M 92-5; and
WHEREAS, five (5) sealed bids were received on March 6, 1992 for
said project; and
WHEREAS, staff has determined the bids to be invalid.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That in accordance with Section 3.28.120 of the City of Carlsbad
Municipal Code, the City Council does hereby reject all bids received for said
project.
3. That the City Council does hereby authorize staff to reassemble
a bid package for said project.
4. That said bid package has been assembled and the plans and
specifications for the readvertisement of bids for the Maintenance of the Buena Vista
Channel, Contract No. U/M 92-5 are hereby approved and the City Clerk is
authorized and directed in accordance with existing law, policies and procedures to
readvertise bids for the Maintenance of the Buena Vista Channel, Contract No. 92-5.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Carlsbad at its regular meeting on the 18th day of AUGUST ,
1992, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Larson, Stanton
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Nygaard
