RESOLUTION NO. 92-320
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD AND EL
CAMINO REAL WIDENING, PROJECT NO. 3166 (REBID).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determin
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to construct improvemer
Palomar Airport Road from El Camino Real to Acacia Avenue in San Marcos i
El Camino Real from Faraday Avenue to Pal omar Airport Road, Project No. 3161
WHEREAS, the Cities of Carlsbad, San Marcos and Vista have enterec
joint agreements to fund the design, construction, inspection and administl
of said improvements; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, and contract documents for the furn.
for all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other ex1
necessary or incidental for said project have been prepared and are on f.
the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, modification to the original project plans and specification
necessary to provide for unforeseen needs; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has caused said plans and specifications
modi f i ed; and;
WHEREAS, the City Council the City of Carlsbad has previously approp>
funds for said project; and
WHEREAS, construction for said improvements is a matter of public necl
and safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Car
