RESOLUTION NO. 9 3 - 5 4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
LETTERS OF SUPPORT FOR RWISIONS TO FEDERAL GUIDELINES
REGARDING THE USE OF DREDGE AND EXCAVATION MATERIALS
FOR BEACHFILL PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has adopted a 1993 Legislative Platform call
support of efforts which would aid the restoration, preservation and enhancement of
property, sand, bluffs, access and parking;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Carlsbad, Califc
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute letters supporting revisions to
guidelines regarding the use of dredge and excavation material for beachfill purpose!
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City (
on the 16thday of March , 1993 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Stanton, Kulchin, Nygaard and Finn
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
