RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAt
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE CALIFORNIA LIB
LITERACY SERVICE
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library Adult Learning Program provide:

f5 11 training to meet the literacy needs of the adult population; and
7 11 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library Adult Learning Program support:

10 WHEREAS, the California State Library is providing additional suppo
11 the Library Adult Learning Program with grant funds in the amount of $24
goals of the City Council and the objectives of the library; and
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of

2. That state funds in the amount of $24,021 are hereby appropr
Library Account No. 180-820-8139.
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
