RESOLUTION NO. 93-121
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE BIDS FOR THE
REPAIRS TO BIOLOGICAL MITIGATION ALONG PALOMAR AIRPORT
ROAD, PROJECT NO. 3401
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it n
desirable, and in the public interest to perform the repairs to the existing mitigation on
side of Palomar Airport Road which was planted as a condition of the Californi;
Commission Permit for the Palomar Airport Road West Assessment District Widening prl
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the furnishing of all labor, mater
equipment, transportation, and other expenses necessary or incidental for said Project
have been prepared and are on file in the Engineering Department of the City of Carl
are incorporated by reference herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has previously appropriatec
said project by Resolution Number 91-400 attached.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans and specifications as presented are hereby approved.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed tc
to publish, in accordance with law, Notice to Contractors inviting bids for the repairs tl

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBP CALIFORNIA, ORDERING CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS IN PROCEEDIh AND ASSESSMENTS IN A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carl sbad has p~
adopted its Resolution of Intention and confirmed an assessment for cert
of improvement in a special assessment district, pursuant to the 1
provisions of the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being Division
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; said special a
district known and designated as Assessment District No. 86-1 (Paloma
Road), hereinafter referred to as the nAssessment District"; and,
WHEREAS, subsequent to the confirmation of the assessment
the improvements were ordered, but during the pendency of these procee
appears to be in the best public interest to order certain ch;
modifications to the proceedings, the Engineer's "Report" and the
improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as foll ows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That it is hereby ordered that certain specific ch
modifications be made, said changes and modifications generally des
fol 1 ows :
~ A. Mitigation repair and replacement including weeding,
irrigation repair and fertilizing, cultivating or
work as required.
B. Slope erosion control including raking, hydroseedin
jute matting and hay bales.
C. Annual monitoring and reporting for a five-year pe
