RESOLUTION NO. 93-123
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBP
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING STAFF TO PURSUE TRANSPORTATK
DEVELOPMENT ACT FDA) FUNDING FROM SANDAG FOR CONSTRUCTK
OF THE JEFFERSON STREET BIKE LANE I I
5 11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined that the

Street Bike Lane shall be part of roadway improvements as indicated in the Circulatio
of the General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) has solicited
projects for the seven-year Regional Transportation Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, the construction of the Jefferson Street Bike Lane in Carlsbad

included on the seven-year Regional Transportation Improvement Program; and
l3 I WHEREAS, funds have been established and are available through SANDA
14 I governments for construction of bike lanes;

16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of

California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
19 I 2. That the City Council authorizes the submittal of an application to the ~
