A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAI
CALIFORNIA DECLARING THE ACCUMULATION OF VEHICLES, CE
BOATS AND CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT LOCATED ON VACANT L
THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF PARK DRIVE AND MARINA DRIVE A
NUISANCE. II WHEREAS, the City Council at their meeting of May 18, 1993 held a dull

WHEREAS, Chapter 10.52 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code declares ab 8
ublic hearing and considered all evidence and testimony of anyone desiring to I

WHEREAS, the vehicles, campers, boats and construction equipmen
l2 I roperty are unsightly; and
13 WHEREAS, the City has received numerious citizens’ complaints alleginc
14 sbandoned vehicles are materially detrimental to adjacent property; and
15 WHEREAS, the movement of said vehicles over the curb has and will co

damage the curb; and

WHEREAS, the random movement of vehicles on and off this lot is a
?affic hazard; and
20 I1 WHEREAS, the leaking or dumping of motor oil from vehicles parkec
21 x-operty is an environmental hazard;
22 WHEREAS, the conditions existing on the parcel constitute a public nui

defined in Section 6.1 6.010 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code.

NOW, THEREFORE, by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Califor
lereby resolve as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
