RESOLUTION NO. 93-157
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD,CALIFORNIA, SELECTING SPECIFIC PROJECTS FOR
FUNDING UNDER THE 1993-94 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOC1
GRANT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, held a public hearing on May 18, 1993 to acce]
comments on the needs of low and moderate income persons i
the proposals submitted for funding consideration under tl
1993-94 Community Development Block Grant Entitlement
Program; and,
Whereas, the City Council selected projects and fund
allocations during a public meeting on May 25, 1993; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken all testimony in. account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the projects selected at the City Council meeti:
of May 25, 1993 are hereby approved at the indicated
funding levels for inclusion in Carlsbad's 1993-94
Community Development Block Grant Final Statement.
3. That the City will publish a summary of the proposed projects in the local newspaper(s) and allow a fifte
(15) day public review and comment period prior to submitting the City's Final Statement to the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development for
approval.

4. That the Housing and Redevelopment Director is
authorized to submit the Final Statement to the U.S
Department of Housing and Urban Development for
approval upon expiration of the public review and
comment period.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, by the City Council of 1 7
