RESOLUTION NO. 9 3 - 16 9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO ABSTAIN FROM VOTING IN THE CARLSBAD
UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT COMMUNITY FACILITIES
DISTRICT NO. 2 SPECIAL ELECTION
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad owns parcel 214-140-13 which
is within the boundaries of the Carlsbad Unified School District Community
Facilities District No. 2; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has
received a ballot in the school district special election; and
WHEREAS, the City will not be required to pay Carlsbad Unified
School District Community Facilities District No. 2 special taxes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has directed the Mayor to vote on
behalf of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:

1. That the Mayor is authorized by the City Council to abstain
from voting in the Carlsbad Unified School District Community Facilities
District No. 2 special election.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 15th day of JUNE , 1993, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Stanton, Kulchin, Nygaard, I
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
