A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING RENEWAL OF THE CITY’S
EXCESS WORKERS’ COMPENSATION
INSURANCE
5 11 WHEREAS, the City has established a self-insurance program for workers’
6 ll compensation; and

WHEREAS, the City’s Insurance Broker has received quotations for Excess

9 Workers’ Compensation Insurance coverage; and
lo; ll WHEREAS, upon evaluation of these quotations for excess insurance, the
11 City desires to renew its insurance.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Carlsbac

2. That the renewal of the City’s Excess Workers’ Compensation 15
1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 14
California as follows:
Insurance coverage with National Union is hereby approved and the Finance Director is
I’7 I( authorized to issue a warrant for the deposit premium of said renewal in the amount of
