RESOLUTION NO. 93-218
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER OR DEPUTIES TO TRANSFER SECURITIES
WHEREAS, the City from time to time may receive E
bonds or other securities in satisfaction of claims asser
bankruptcy proceedings, liquidation proceedings, or otherwi:
WHEREAS, it is necessary to execute transfer of SE
documents, affidavits or agreements; and
WHEREAS, the City Treasurer is charged wit
responsibility and authority for the management of ca:
investments as directed by the City Council according to the
Investment Policy; and
WHEREAS, the City Treasurer is in possession o
securities which should be transferred and converted to cas
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows that:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The City Treasurer or deputy city treasurer,
absence of the City Treasurer, may execute all necessary t~
of securities documents and such other documents as 1
necessary to perfect the transfer and the City Clerk is aut1
to attest to them.
3. The City Treasurer or deputy city treasurer,
absence of the City Treasurer, may execute all necessary doc
to establish and maintain bank accounts and stock anc
brokerage firm accounts.
