A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
DONATIONSOF MERCHANDISEVALUINGATOTAL
OF FIVE THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED, TEN
DOLLARS ($5,210) IN SUPPORT OF THE 15TH
ANNUAL CARLSBAD BODY SURFING CONTEST.
WHEREAS, the 15th Annual Carlsbad Body Surfing Contest was held or
8 August 14 and 15, 1993; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Parks and Recreation Department receive!
lo 11 merchandise donations in support of the Body Surfing Contest, a listing of whic

is attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
13 /I WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges the generosity and communit
14 support of the vendors who have donated to this special event; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City c 16
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept these donations;

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept the merchandise donation
4 totaling five thousand, two hundred, ten dollars ($5,210).
5 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Cit ' Council of the City of Carlsbad held on the 5th day of OCTOBER , 1993, by th
