RESOLUTION NO. 9 3 - 2 8 4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A
BUILDING PERMIT FOR RESTORATION/REMODEL OF
RAMSAY HOUSE, A LOCAL HISTORIC LANDMARK.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, did on September 6:
1988, designate Ramsay House a Historic Landmark, subject to the provisions of the
Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the current owners of the property have applied for a buildinl
permit in order to restore/remodel the structure; and
WHEREAS, the proposed plans will not detrimentally alter, destroy o
adversely affect any architectural or landscape feature of the property; and
WHEREAS, the project appears to comply with all applicable City Standards
and
WHEREAS, on August 9, 1993, the Historic Preservation Commissiol
reviewed the proposed building plans and voted to recommend issuance of a buildin,
permit for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City c
Carlsbad, as follows:
I. That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council approves the issuance of a building permit fc
restoration/remodel of the property, upon completion of all necessal
I structural reviews.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Ci
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 5th day of
OCTOBER , 1993, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewi
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Nyg
