A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE POLICE
ASSET FORFEITURE FUND (FEDERAL) FOR THE
SUPPORT OF CRIME STOPPERS. INC.
WHEREAS, from time to time, the City of Carlsbad Police Department receives
funds and assets resulting from he Police Department's drug enforcement activities; anc
WHEREAS, said funds should be utilized for law enforcement purposes and
~ , supporting police activities; and
I I I WHEREAS, the appropriation of said funds is necessary before any expenditure (

l3 I1 WHEREAS, the Police Forfeiture Asset Fund has an available fund balance of

balance of the Police Asset Forfeiture Fund (Federal) to support Crime Stoppers, Inc., I.'7
California, that the amount of $5,000 be hereby appropriated from the available fund 16
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, 15
$1,500,000.
I PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
I' ' Council held on the 14th day of DECEMBER, 1993, by the following vote to wit:
