A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COMPREHENSIVEHOUSING AFFORDABILITY STRATEGY FOR
THE CITY’S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
PROGRAM TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, at a pub1
CARLSBAD APPROVING THE SUBMTTAL OF THE 1993-1998
7 hearing held on December 14, 1993, considered the 1993-1998 Comprehensive Housil

Affordability Strategy (CHAS) for the City’s Community Development Block Gra
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California approves tl
’I 11 submittal of the 1993-1998 Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS) fi
12 II the City’s Community Development Block Grant program to the U.S. Department 1
Housing and Urban Development; and

15 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is committed to continuing to provide 101
16 income housing in the City as is outlined in the Housing Element of the General Plan ax

in the Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS), a five year plan
increase assisted housing which is required by HUD.

2o I NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Counc
