RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT
FROM THE CALIFORNLA LIBRARY LITERACY
SERVICE
5 11 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library Adult Learning Program provides

9 goals of the City Council and the objectives of the library; and
training to meet the literacy needs of the adult population; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library Adult Learning Program supports
10 WHEREAS, the California State Library is providing additional support fi
l1 the Library Adult Learning Program with grant funds in the amount of $25,167.
I.2 II NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Cit

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That state funds in the amount of $25,167 are hereby appropriated
