RESOLUTION NO. 9 4 - 6 6
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GIFT OF
$51,290 FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY.
4 WHEREAS, the Friends of the Carlsbad Library have donated $51,290 to the

used in support of children’s programs and for the purchase of furniture, equipment 7
WHEREAS, the library and the Friends have agreed that this donation will be

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of $51,290 from the Friends of

the Library on behalf of all citizens of Carlsbad.

PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 8th day of MARCH ,
1994, by the following vote, to wit:
