A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE COMPLETED ANNUAL
CONSISTENCY CHECKLIST FOR THE REGIONAL GROWTH
MANAGEMENT STRATEGY AND TRANSMITTING THE CHECKLIST TO
THE REGIONAL GROWTH MANAGEMENT REVIEW BOARD (SAN DIEGO ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS).
WHEREAS, the Regional Growth Management Strategy Wi
prepared by the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) :
response to Proposition C, approved by the voters of San Diec
County in November 1988; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsb;
considered the Regional Growth Management Strategy on March 24
1992, and recommended adoption of the Strategy; and
WHEREAS, the Regional Growth Management Stratel
includes a self-certification process to ensure consistenc
between the Strategy's recommended actions and the relevant plan:
policies, and ordinances of local jurisdictions and region;
agencies; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has completed its S~COI
Consistency Checklist, for the period mid-1992 to December 199:
which provides a status report regarding the consistency of i.
relevant plans, policies, and ordinances with the Strategy
Recommended Actions and information regarding the region
progress towards achieving the Quality of Life Standards a1
Ob j ectives ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad th.
day held a public hearing on the Consistency Checklist to considc
the comments of all persons wishing to be heard on the matter.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council 1
the City of Carlsbad, California that:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The Consistency Checklist on file with the Ci.
Clerk is approved for submittal to SANDAG acting as the Region,
Growth Management Board.
3. The City of Carlsbad agrees to take the actio
identified in the Checklist to achieve consistency with t:
Strategy and to monitor annually and report its progress towar]
meeting the Quality of Life Factors and Objectives.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting
the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, held on the 17th
day of MAY , 1994, by the following vote, to wit:
