A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY COUNCIL TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CARLSBAD AND THE CITY OF
ENCINITAS TO ENABLE THE CITY OF CARLSBAD TO REIMBURSE THE
MAINTENANCE COSTS FOR ATRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEM AT
THE INTERSECTION OF RANCHO SANTA FE ROAD AND CALLE
ACERVO/AVENIDA LA POSTA.
CITY OF ENCINITAS ONE-HALF OF THE OPERATION AND
7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it necessary i
8 the public interest to improve the intersection of Rancho Santa Fe Road and

AcervoIAvenida La Posta by construction of a traffic control signal system and safety lightir
minor road improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has authorized the design of said traffic control
system and safety lighting and minor road improvement for said intersection; and
WHEREAS, the intersection of Rancho Santa Fe Road and Calle AcervoIAvenida La
is one-half in the City of Carlsbad and one-half in the City of Encinitas; and
l6 II WHEREAS, upon completion of the traffic control system, the City of Encinitas will as
