A RESOLUTION OF ME CITY COUNCIL OF ME CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER
NO. 1 TO THE 1992-93 CURB, GUTIER, AND SIDEWALK
REPLACEMENT PROGRAM, CONTRACT NO. U/M 93-7 FOR
ADDITIONAL WORK NECESSARY
WHEREAS, bids were received by the City of Carlsbad, California, for the l!
/I 93 Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalk Replacement Program in accordance with Contract No. 8
9 ll 93-7; and
10 I1 WHEREAS, the lowest responsive bidder for the project was B-1 Enterr
11 Corporation of Rancho Cucamonga, California; and
12 WHEREAS, it was in the public interest to perform additional work to elimi
13
WHEREAS, adequate funds are appropriated in the Gas Tax Fund for cer 16
additional pedestrian trip hazards was minimal; and 15
WHEREAS, the cost for performing additional work necessary to elimi 14
all pedestrian trip hazards; and

18 WHEREAS, a change order is necessary to be issued prior to acceptanc

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Cii
Carlsbad as follows:

1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The City Manager is authorized to approve Change Order No. 1 ir
25 II amount of $1 0,254.09.
