A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR ME 1993/94 USED OIL BLOCKGRANTPROGRAM ANDAPPOINTINGTHERESEARCH MANAGERAS ME SIGNATURE AUMORITY
i WHEREAS, grant funding has been established by the California Oil Recyclir

for establishing and maintaining local used oil collection programs that encourage recycl 7
and is available to cities and counties through the California Integrated Waste Management 1

appropriate disposal of used oil; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is desirous of applying for these funds; ai
WHEREAS, the program requires that the application be approved and a sigl
authority appointed by resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Ca
as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The submittal of a 1993/94 Used Oil Block Grant application is app
