RESOLUTION NO. 94-178
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
SIDEWALKS ON DESIGNATED CITY STREETS AND REPAIRS TO EXISTING SIDEWALKS IN PORTIONS OF THE MAR Y MONTANAS
SUBDIVISION, UNITS 1 & 2
OF PROJECT NO. 3391-2 AND 341 3 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad for the construct
sidewalks on designated City streets and repairs to existing sidewalks in portions of the
Montanas Subdivision, Units 1 & 2, Project Nos. 3391-2 and 3413, respectively; and

WHEREAS, the low bid received for the work was submitted by Interwest Pacific,
amount of $469,193.60; and
11 WHEREAS, funds are available in Project Account No. 310-820-1840-3391 and P
12 Account No. 342-820-1 843-3391 for Project No. 3391 and Project Account No. 300-820-1 84C

for Project No. 3413.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carl
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The bid of $469,193.60 by Interwest Pacific, Inc. for Contract Nos. 3391-2 and
for construction of sidewalks on designated City streets and repairs to existing sidewalks

portions of the Mar Y Montanas Subdivision, Units 1 & 2, is hereby accepted, and the Mayc
City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a contract thereafter.
3. That in accordance with Carlsbad Municipal Code, Section 3.28.172(b)(3), thc
Manager is hereby authorized to approve individual change orders of $25,000 or less
cumulative value of $28,565.00.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Cc
held on the 28th day of JUNE , 1994 by the following vote, to wit:
