A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF MERCHANDISE, GIF'J
CERTIFICATES AND IN KIND SERVICES VALUING A TOTAL 01
ELEVEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWELVE DOLLARS ($11,412) IT
SUPPORT OF THE ANNUAL CARLSBAD INTERNATIONAL BOD!
SURFING CHAMPIONSHIPS
WHEREAS, the Annual Carlsbad International Bodysurfing contest was held o
August 13 and 14, 1994; and
9 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Parks and Recreation Commission received merchandist
10 gift certificates and in kind service donations in support of the Bodysurfing Contest, a listin

of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof; and

WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the generosity and support c
community vendors who have donated to this special event; and
WHEREAS, the City Courlcil wishes to accept these donations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City (

1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept the merchandise, gift certificatr
and in kind service donations totalling eleven thousand four hundred tweh
dollars ($1 1,412).
